Q: Is Junk Monstear a licensed company?

A: Yes we are. Junk Monsters trucks and employee’s are licensed and insured, you can be assured that your home and property are fully protected and your rubbish will be disposed of properly.

Q: Do you recycle?

A: We recycle all recyclable items. This includes paper, wood, metal, plastic, or e-waste. Other items may be donated to local charities. Leftover waste is taken to the transfer station or landfill.

Q: Do you take paint or household toxics?

A: We do not haul hazardous materials. Junk Monster is not licensed to carry hazardous materials, sorry.

Q: Why would I use your service instead of renting a dumpster?

A: A big dumpster in front of your house can be an eyesore for you and your neighbors, and you have no control of what other people throw in there when you aren’t watching. Also, when you rent a dumpster, you will be charged a flat fee, if you have a few items or fill up the dumpster. Junk Monster only charges you for the volume of materials we put in our truck.

Q: How do you dispose of the junk you haul away?

A: Most of the materials that we haul away goes to recycling centers and city transfer stations. Some materials are donated to charities and people in need. What we cannot donate goes straight to your local dumping facilities.

Q: Is there anything you do not remove?

A: Yes, we do not remove toxic chemicals, hazardous materials/products, some paints solvents, asbestos, chemicals, oils, oil drums, and medical waste.

Q: Is the cost of unloading at the dump included in my price?

A: Yes. The cost of proper disposal is included. However, some surcharges may apply.

Q: Do you charge extra for any items (surcharges)?

A: Yes. Some items have landfill surcharges and we must charge extra for these items. Please call us for more information on this.

Q: When should I book an appointment?

A: Contact us soon as time slots fill up quickly. As soon as you call, we will let you know the availability in your area. We will need to know the Zip Code of the pick up address.

Q: Can you move items from one location to another?

A: Junk Monster is not licensed to carry items for the purpose of moving them. The truck is a JUNK truck and is also dirty inside the bed. We can only take away junk you no longer need or want.
